Artist Bio - Betsy T. Domanski

My Spiritual Journey
Creating my photographic images utilizing a small format camera, I shoot Close-up Photography in natural light. The refraction, reflection, shadow - or the abstraction itself - becomes the subject, bearing no resemblance or relation to the original subject.


My photography is healing for me to do. People find that my images are healing for them; they have told me that some of my images are the lights that they see. I am honored to show what they see, and share my images as I continue on my spiritual journey.

Recently I began photographing elemental objects including crystals; the faces that are revealed in the crystals are my Spiritual Portraits. My inspiration is from Spirit; I am guided to these images, and in the process of creating them I help Mother Earth and heal hearts.

My angels guide me in creating these images; I wanted to see the angels and the spirit in these objects.

I obtained a Certificate in Photography from Palomar College in San Marcos, California, USA in 1999. Since then my photographs have won awards at juried exhibitions in Southern California.
