Artist Bio - Michele McCainI have had a lifelong interest in photography, gadgets, and travel. While earning a nursing degree, I spent my college years working for a large film processing company, where I learned about cameras, film, and film processing.
I came from an artistic family, my father was a portrait artist and my grandfather was a landscape artist. I always felt that I didn’t inherit the artistic gene until I picked up my first DSLR camera when I began seeing the world differently through the viewfinder. I discovered that photography was a perfect fit for me to express creativity.
My lifelong love of travel is the perfect companion for me and my camera. I have been fortunate to travel far and wide photographing some of the world's most beautiful landscapes. I consider myself a travel photographer emphasizing fine art landscapes and nature photography.
