Artist Bio - Alan Haynes

USA TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY
I specialize in photographing the USA. I've traveled to and photographed all
50 states. There is plenty right here in America to keep a travel
photographer busy for life: beautiful national parks, busy urban centers,
quirky events, and interesting people. No passport required.

PHOTOGRAPHING THE WORLD
Besides the United States, other favorite destinations include the Canada
and Iceland. I've spent many an early morning freezing in my boots to
capture the beauty of the amazing landscapes of these two countries. I've
photographed the Northern Lights in Canada's Northwest Territories and the
national parks of the Canadian Rockies. I've shivered through an Icelandic
winter and spent a month driving around the entire country.

PUBLICATIONS
My work has been published worldwide and it's still a blast to discover new
uses of my photos across the globe. My photos have appeared in more places
than I have: Israel, the Netherlands and the Russian Federation to name a
few. They've been used in books, magazines, TV shows and newspapers from
local freebies to the Wall Street Journal.

PAST AND FUTURE
In a prior life, I received a degree in business computing and information
systems and spent 26 years working in the telecommunications industry. Now
I'm dedicated to photography and photographers. Through my consulting and
web-design business, I also help to educate and promote an ever-growing
universe of digital photographers.
